This commission was such a pleasure for David... Our client wanted a mountain like sculptural piece representative of the time and place he and his girlfriend first met to pop the question.

One of their favourite activities is bushwalking, hiking and mountain climbing. As with every commission, David explored concepts and ideas with the client, making sure his design would meet the brief.

The end result, a one of a kind engagement ring holder, handcrafted from Queensland Maple Burl inlayed with ebony.

Here's the happy couple (pictured with David) when they returned to the Gallery and share their excitement on having their own handcrafted personalised keepsake as a memory of this special occasion they will cherish forevermore.
